This starter is designed to process public news metadata and publicly indexed social-post metadata. It should not become a repository of private personal data.

Public news data

The collector stores article titles, feed descriptions, publisher names, domains, timestamps, public links, language labels, topic tags, coarse governorate labels, clustering results, and evidence-score components. It does not intentionally store full articles.

Prohibited collection

Do not solicit or publish passwords, private messages, non-public phone numbers, identity documents, private home addresses, exact locations of vulnerable people, hacked data, or details that create a credible targeting risk.

Operator responsibility

Replace this starter notice with a jurisdiction-specific policy identifying the operator, lawful basis, processors, retention periods, rights, contact channel, and international transfers before launch.

Official-match feedback

The structured official-match feedback endpoint stores the story identifier, selected official identifier, correction category, optional short note, interface language, and submission time. The application does not intentionally add a visitor name, email address, or IP address to the feedback record. Netlify and network infrastructure may process standard connection logs under their own policies.
